A reason Behind the Fall of Muslim

What is reason behind the fall of Muslim community?

An important thing which has wide effect on the Muslim community and its society is waisting money like water for our personal things to follow the fashions, earn name among people, become famous and to practice the traditions and customs which are innovations and rubbish while we dodge and give cold shoulder to our neighbors, relatives, and others who starve and are in need of our help . It indicates our selfishness, mercilessness, coldheartedness and inhumanity. As long as halal and haram concern, We may not get any clear verdict(fatwa) saying that spending money like water for our interesting things and fashions is unlawful and haraam. But Allah doesn't like this behavior and It is for sure that our this behavior and this style of leading life, going after our  desire and fashions and ignoring needy people make Allah very furious and angry.
How can it be allowed to spend lakhs over a night for just a party and any ceremony in an age and situation in which a lot  of people don't have a piece of bread to eat, many women don't have a piece of cloth to cover themselves and patients who are about to die are bereft of medicines and in very much need of treatment, widows starve and have nothing to subside their hunger and a poor man doesn't have even a candle to light it in his house so darkness can disappear?
